Users who have changed their Battle.net BattleTag once and wish to do so again may now do so for a $10 fee.
"Whether you've outgrown your BattleTag or you've decided it's simply time for a change, you can update your BattleTag with just a few clicks," Blizzard says.
Previously, users could only make a BattleTag change once, for free. The first-free-change policy still is in effect. Users who change their names will still keep their friends lists intact.
Xbox Live has a similar one-change-free policy for gamertags, with fees for additional changes. Steam allows users to change their Community ID name at any time. PlayStation Network does not support ID changes.
