Nintendo’s upcoming Paper Mario game for the Wii U, Paper Mario: Color Splash, unlocked last night in full for anyone who had a digital version of the game pre-loaded, according to multiple tweets.
Multiple Wii U owners took to Twitter to show off different screens from the game as soon as the game became available late last night and early this morning. Most of the people who have begun tweeting about having the game aren’t posting many details or images out of fear of spoiling it for those that weren’t able to unlock the full version early. Different screenshots from the game have begun to appear on NeoGAF, however, for those interested.

It appears the unlock was only available for those in North America, with European players tweeting their frustration at not being able to play the game ahead of time. As of Friday morning, players were unable to unlock the full digital version of the game even if they had it pre-loaded. Polygon has reached out to Nintendo for comment about the leak.
Paper Mario: Color Splash is scheduled to be released on Oct. 7, exactly two weeks from today. Polygon went hands on with the game back in July at San Diego Comic-Con and 15-minutes of footage from the game can be seen here.
