Sony’s PlayStation Experience fan-focused event is coming back for 2016, though the show is moving to a new location this year: Anaheim, California. This year’s event will take place Dec. 3-4, Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog.
PlayStation Experience 2016 will feature hands-on time with the recently announced PlayStation 4 Pro — playable on 4K TVs — and "dozens of PlayStation VR demos, PlayStation Showcase, developer panels, merchandise, and a whole lot more," Sony said. This year's PlayStation Experience will also coincide with Capcom's Street Fighter 5 Capcom Cup tournament. The Capcom Cup finals will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, starting at 6 p.m. PT.
Tickets for this year's PSX are on sale now. A two-day early bird ticket costs $60, while regular priced two-day tickets run $75. Saturday-only tickets are priced at $45 and Sunday-only tickets cost $40.
The inaugural PlayStation Experience was held in 2014 in Las Vegas. Last year, the show moved to San Francisco. The show typically follows another end-of-year event, The Game Awards, which will be held Dec. 1 this year.
