Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is just a couple of months from being released, and the final trailer provides us with the most in-depth look yet at the magic and creatures within the film.
While previous trailers have given teasing looks at some of the fantastic beasts that will appear in the movie, there hasn’t been anything as vibrant as the scenes in the new trailer. The two-minute trailer is chock-full of magic spells being cast at different witches, wizards and creatures roaming New York City, and it also touches upon the relationships that will occur throughout the movie.
One of the characters, for example, that the new trailer focuses on is Colin Farrell’s Percival Graves. An American Auror, Graves is one of the few people aware that there are magical creatures running around New York. He becomes one of the main characters that attempts to hunt down British wizard Newt Scalamander (Eddie Redmayne) and find the beasts before their community is outed to the muggles (non-magical folk) they’re living with.
Earlier this month, Paramount Pictures released a set of photos showcasing the fantastic beasts that will appear in the film, detailing what their powers are and where they come from. While there are more creatures in J.K. Rowling’s book of the same name, the writers could only pick a select few to focus on.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will hit theaters Nov. 18.
