Friday the 13th carves up the camp counselors in its latest gore-filled trailer

No, don't run into that shed with the pickaxe and wood-chipper ...

Friday the 13th: The Game, due to launch sometime next month, rolled out a trailer for PAX West that showcases more grisly killing scenes set to a rokken-like-Dokken Fiero-mullet 1980s soundtrack.

In it we see Jason Voorhees in his many incarnations — hockey-mask, bag-on-head, decomposed hell-beast, etc. — thin out Crystal Lake's population of nubile camp counselors. As the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov once said, "If in the first act you have hung a pitchfork on the wall, then in the following one it a roaring chainsaw must gnaw through the torso of a twentysomething hunk with a blonde butt cut."

Otherwise, don't put it there.

No word specifically on when Friday the 13th drops. October 2016 contains four Fridays, but they are numbered 7, 14, 21 and 28. Alas.
