Watch PlayStation's livestream reveal of PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim and more here

Live from New York, it's the PlayStation Meeting 2016

Sony's big PlayStation Meeting, at which the company is expected to officially announce the PlayStation 4 Neo and a new slimmer version of the PS4, kicks off at 3 p.m. ET (check here for your local time) at the PlayStation Theater in New York on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Secrets both well and poorly kept will at last be revealed during the livestream, which you can watch above.

As is typical for Sony, this event is two hours long, which portends more than just the anticipated announcements of the PS4 Neo and the PS4 Slim redesign. See Polygon's guide for an idea of what to expect from Sony's livestream.

Sony confirmed in June (after multiple leaks) that it plans to release a "higher-end" version of its PS4, codenamed Neo, that supports 4K resolution content. But Sony hasn't officially commented on the redesigned "PS4 Slim" that leaked in August and is already in the hands of some PlayStation fans.

We hope you'll join us here to watch the whole thing and analyze the news coming out of New York.
