Sega’s military-themed tactical role-playing game franchise Valkyria Chronicles is coming to Wargaming’s World of Tanks Blitz, the mobile and PC spinoff of the massively multiplayer online war game. Exactly how those two game series will crossover, however, is still something of a mystery.
Wargaming and Sega announced the collaboration today alongside a teaser trailer. Just don’t expect much in the way of new footage; everything appears to be captured from the existing World of Tanks Blitz and the high-definition remaster of the first Valkyria Chronicles.
More information on the Valkyria Chronicles-World of Tanks collaboration will be announced at Tokyo Game Show next week, Wargaming says.
World of Tanks Blitz was released for Android and iOS devices in 2014. Versions of the game were released for Windows 10 in 2015 and Mac in 2016. Sega released Valkyria Chronicles Remastered for PlayStation 4 earlier this year. The company has another game in the franchise, Valkyria: Azure Revolution, coming to PS4 and PlayStation Vita next year.
