Sony introduced the PlayStation 4 Pro with a montage of what current or in-development games will look like when they tap the power of Sony's higher-powered console. They look great.
Spider-Man, For Honor, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs 2 and Killing Floor 2 were all featured in this beauty roll. Existing games will play as users are accustomed to, said Mark Cerny, the lead system architect for PlayStation. The Pro will draw out detail that is already in the game that the standard PlayStation 4 does not bring out.
Here are a list of games that were mentioned at the PlayStation Meeting as supporting PS4 Pro:
Out now or coming in 2016
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
- Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Watch Dogs 2
- Infinite Warfare
- Killing Floor 2
- Modern Warfare Remastered
- Black Ops 3 with day one patch
- FIFA 17
- Battlefield 1
- Dishonored 2
Coming Soon
- Mass Effect Andromeda
- For Honor
- Spider-Man
- Horizon Zero Dawn (also HDR)
A 4K television is not necessary to see the difference the Pro makes. A 4K TV will be necessary for HDR games, however.
