Microsoft fires back at Sony over lack of 4K Blu-ray support, claims power superiority

It's on now

Sony announced two new consoles today, and Microsoft isn't holding back from taking a few shots at its competition. Microsoft started by pointing out the Xbox One S can handle more sources of 4K content than the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro.

The PlayStation 4 Pro, for all its capabilities, can't play 4K Blu-ray discs, a somewhat baffling omission from the otherwise impressive console.

Aaron Greenberg, head of Xbox Games marketing, tweeted the specs of the PlayStation 4 Pro and claimed the superiority of the upcoming Scorpio.

Microsoft has stated that the Scorpio console will deliver 6 teraflops of computing capability, compared to the Pro's 4.2 teraflops. Here is a quick primer on teraflops, for the curious.
