Sony announces ‘glacier white’ PS4 Slim

No word when it’s coming to the U.S. though

Sony Interactive Entertainment

Sony will launch a "glacier white" version of its new PlayStation 4 Slim, but so far there's no word on when or if it is coming to North America.

The Glacier White PlayStation 4 launches Jan. 24 in Europe and on Feb. 23 in Japan. It's the first color variation of the standard PS4's new case.

It has a 500 GB hard drive on board and comes with a matching Glacier White Dualshock 4 (in its new configuration for the Slim). The European MSRP is €299, £259 in the U.K. No price yet on the Japan version, but a 1 TB option will be available there.

For those unsure of the differences in the consoles, Polygon compared the launch PlayStation 4, the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro. If you’re wondering about whether to buy (or how long to hold out for) the PlayStation 4 Pro, here is a guide.
