Mario Kart 8 is coming to Nintendo Switch with a host of new features, including new racers like Splatoon’s Inklings and King Boo, and new courses. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will also come with a new Battle Mode, a game mode that was half-baked at best in the Wii U version of Mario Kart 8.

Battle Mode in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will include Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, and you can see a sampling of that gameplay in the video above. Watch as the Nintendo Treehouse gang takes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for a spin in one of its new battle arenas, the Splatoon-inspired Urchin Underpass.

Nintendo has confirmed that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will also include a handful of other battle arenas: Luigi’s Mansion (Mario Kart: Double Dash), Battle Course 1 (Super Mario Kart) and the new Battle Stadium.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 28.
