Call of Duty’s next DLC lets you get high, kill zombies with Kevin Smith

A new look at Infinite Warfare’s Rave in the Redwoods

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s first downloadable content drops next week, bringing with it a handful of new multiplayer maps and a new episode for the game’s Zombies mode. As Activision and developer Infinity Ward previously revealed, the episode, Rave in the Redwoods, will send players to a zombie-infested dance party in the woods.

Turns out players will also encounter Clerks and Mallrats director Kevin Smith.

A new trailer for Infinite Warfare’s Rave in the Redwoods shows what Call of Duty players will contend with: raver zombies, DayGlo-painted ‘90s fashions, deadly swamp creatures, drug-induced hallucinations and remembering that you owned The Crystal Method’s Vegas on CD.

Here’s the official description of Rave in the Redwoods, which is part of Infinite Warfare’s Sabotage DLC.

After escaping the terrifying Zombies in Spaceland, our heroes are transported to an abandoned campground... the perfect site for Willard Wyler’s next horror masterpiece. Set in the ‘90s, the four actors find themselves in brand new roles, along with some fresh new threads. Together, they’ll team up to take on endless hordes of raver zombies and the mysterious Slasher, who’s on the prowl to add more “trophies” to his collection. With the help of some brutal new weapons and even director Kevin Smith (!), our heroes just might be able to put an end to the madness in the Redwoods.

Infinity Ward will release Sabotage for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare first on PlayStation 4 on Jan. 31.
