The Evil Within 2, like any open-world game, is full of things to discover, seek out, find and collect. Some of them are useful, like ammo pouches or locker key statues (those knee-high statues scattered around). These get you something immediately(ish) helpful in your journey through Union. The other things you can pick up are just purely collectible. They’re not useful except to satisfy your completionist urges.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the collectibles in The Evil Within 2’s 11th chapter, “Reconnecting.”
Chapter 11 ‘Reconnecting’ collectible locations
The Evil Within 2 Chapter 2 has many collectibles to find. To make finding them easy, we’ve included an image of the collectible as you’ll see it in the game as well as a screenshot of the map (when there’s a map to show you).
Torres’ journal is on the corner of the desk in her safe house.
Take the mirror in Torres’ safe house back to Sebastian’s office. Walk to the room with his desk and look on the shelf underneath the wall with the “Have you seen me?” posters.
After entering the Marrow, solve the puzzle to open the door. Take your first left, and the photographic slide is on an altar.

In Hoffman’s safe house, examine her computer.
Shotgun ammo pouch
While it’s not technically a collectible, we thought we’d include it for you here. The shotgun ammo pouch, which increases the amount of shotgun ammo you can carry, is on a dead Mobius operative’s corpse. You can’t miss the body. It’s along the only path you can take to do the next thing you need to do in The Evil Within 2.
Computer File: Security Protocols
This collectible is in a room straight across from the elevator you take up, past the two dead Mobius security guards. Go inside the room to the left (which also has a mirror). Investigate the computer to find this file.
Computer File: Pit Observatory
Inside the big, creepy laboratory full of gurneys and curtains, use an electric bolt to shoot the fusebox next to a sliding door. Follow the path the only way you can. Open the door by the pit, and examine the computer to get this computer file.
Torn Psychological Evaluation Report (Bottom)
After sneaking your way past the Anima (she’s the giggling, singing, floating monstrosity with long, flowing hair who’s been occasionally stalking you for a long time), turn right into the first room in the hallway. The item is on a desk in the far right of the room. (There’s no map in this section.)
Letter from Police Chief
This letter is in a room on the left of the hallway, opposite the room above. Turn right after you enter, and the letter’s on a gurney.
Right after you shoot someone familiar, the slide’s on the desk in front of where you return in the Marrow.
(After finding the slide, you leave the area that you used the electric bolt to get into and resume your search for the chip.)
Report: STEM Interrogation Irregularities
This collectible is in the corner of the laboratory where the slide projector is. It’s leaning on a ledge where the projector is … projecting.
Computer File: Operative Case
Walk up the laboratory stairs, and there are two room around the perimeter of the upper floor. Enter Lab 3, walk through the morgue and open the door. Examine the computer for this file.
Medical Pouch Upgrade
While it’s not technically a collectible, we thought we’d include it for you here. There’s a resonance point in the eastern lab on the second floor of the laboratory. You’ll find this upgrade there.
Report: Irregularity Studies
Enter Lab 1 on the first floor of the laboratory, turn left and open the double doors. On a gurney at the far left of the room is a manilla envelope with this collectible.
