Injustice 2’s next guest character, the gruff but lovable hellspawn known as Hellboy, will join NetherRealm’s fighting game in November, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced today.
Hellboy will be available to players who own the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack or Fighter Pack 2 on Nov. 14. He’ll be available for purchase separately on Nov. 21.
Warner Bros. and NetherRealm released a first look at Hellboy in action today, showing how he uses his Right Hand of Doom in a fight. We also get a look at his sort-of-alter ego, Anung Un Rama, when Hellboy gets a fresh set of horns and a flaming crown — and apparently some amount of armor.
There’s also a good look at Hellboy’s super move, which — as you’d probably expect — sees Hellboy and his opponent sent to Hell itself for a beatdown.
Injustice 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Windows PC version was recently confirmed.
