Surreal puzzle adventure The Gardens Between comes to PS4 in 2018

A time-twisting game about friendship

Puzzle game The Gardens Between is coming to PlayStation 4 in 2018, developer The Voxel Agents confirmed during Sony’s Paris Games Week livestream event today.

The developer describes The Gardens Between as “a breathtaking puzzle game where best friends, Arina and Frendt, find themselves in a surreal world of garden islands.” Players will move forward and backward in time to “discover each garden’s secrets and reveal a story about friendship, childhood and growing up.” As seen in the trailer above, each garden is littered with giant-sized versions of everyday objects: video game consoles, walkie-talkies, recycling bins, soda bottles, Jenga blocks and more.

The Gardens Between was announced for release on Mac and Windows PC earlier this year. The Voxel Agents expects to release the game on console and PC during the third quarter of next year.
