After years of buildup, the moment is almost here: Justice League, the culmination of the films in the DC Extended Universe, hits theaters in a couple of months.
Justice League brings together a team of five DC superheroes — well, six when you include Superman (wink, wink) — to save Earth from the intergalactic villain Steppenwolf and his Parademons from the planet Apokolips. It’s the fifth entry in DC’s franchise of comic book movies, following Wonder Woman, which hit theaters in June and became a critical and commercial success.
DC brought the costumes for five of the six members of the super squad — all of the ones not named Superman — to Comic-Con International this past summer, and the company trotted them out at New York Comic Con this weekend as well. In order, the characters represented are The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). Take a look at the photos below to see each hero’s intricately detailed outfit, along with weapons for those who carry them).
Warner Bros. Pictures’ Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, although he left the project in May after the death of his daughter. Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the movie. The film premieres Nov. 17.
