It’s that time of year again. Have your credit cards at the ready and prepare to hit the refresh button with fervor as you try to secure tickets to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Lucasfilm confirmed that tickets for The Last Jedi will go on sale worldwide on Oct. 9, following the debut of a new trailer. Tickets will be sold on every major and independent theater website, giving you a good chance at grabbing a couple for you and your friends on opening night.
The studio also confirmed that The Last Jedi’s second trailer will debut during the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears game on Monday Night Football. The game starts at 5:15 p.m. PT/8:15 p.m. ET.
Lucasfilm released two teasers to drum up excitement for the trailer. One features Luke Skywalker taking the lightsaber from Rey, directly picking up from the end of The Force Awakens. Mark Hamill, who plays Skywalker, first tweeted about the trailer last month. He hinted that it would debut during a Monday Night Football game, much like a previous trailer for The Force Awakens. Hamill quickly deleted the tweet, following it up with a statement confirming Disney and Lucasfilm would announce the trailer’s debut date when they were ready.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on Dec. 15.
Update: Tickets for Star Wars: The Last Jedi went on sale earlier than expected. You can purchase them now, but they’re going fast!
