Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has revealed the official poster for the newest Star Wars movie.
The poster, which can be seen in full below, carries on the theme of The Last Jedi’s use of red. The cast is centered above the film’s title, with General Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) sitting directly in the middle. Rey (Daisy Ridley) is off to the side wielding the lightsaber, standing back-to-back with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). A hooded Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is at the very top, towering over everyone.

Johnson said on Twitter it was difficult to get all of the characters in the shot and around the title block, but credited the magicians at Disney for figuring out how to do it. The director added that he loved Leia’s stance in particular, noting that she was wearing his favorite costume from the movie.
An earlier poster for the movie was released during Star Wars Celebration in April. That poster featured Rey in the middle, holding a lightsaber toward the sky, with Luke and Kylo in the background. The poster can be seen below.

The new poster reveal comes just before Disney and Lucasfilm debut the second trailer for The Last Jedi. Tickets for the movie will go on sale following the trailer’s premiere.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on Dec. 15.
