Watch Bungie reveal Destiny 2’s first expansion here

Meet the legendary Warlock Osiris

Destiny 2 developer Bungie is finally ready to delve into Curse of Osiris, the game’s first expansion, in the studio’s typical fashion: a series of reveal livestreams. Bungie will kick off its schedule today, and you can watch the first livestream on the studio’s Twitch channel (or below).

“New Stories to Tell,” the first reveal livestream for Curse of Osiris, will begin at 2 p.m. ET. “Learn about the places you’ll go, the characters you’ll meet, and the enemies you’ll fight,” said Bungie in its description of the show. The studio did not say how long the stream will be, but these events typically run for 40-60 minutes.

In the expansion’s announcement trailer, we heard Ikora Rey describe Osiris — her mentor — as “the most notorious Guardian in Vanguard history.” Presumably, we’ll hear more about him today. Bungie will follow it up with two additional streams over the next two weeks:

  • New Ways to Play: 2 p.m. ET, Tuesday, Nov. 21
Watch us preview some of the new activities that will challenge you and your Fireteam.
  • New Gear to Earn: 2 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Nov. 29
Inspect the new inventories and see it all in action on a brand new Crucible map.

Curse of Osiris will launch six days after that, on Tuesday, Dec. 5. It will be available simultaneously on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. That same day, Bungie will release a patch to add support for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, as well as high dynamic range (HDR) color on consoles.
