When Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition hits PlayStation 4 and Windows PC next year, the update will include new moves — specifically new V-Trigger attacks — for every character. But that’s not all that’s coming in Capcom’s update for Street Fighter 5, as illustrated by a new teaser trailer for Arcade Edition.
In addition to new V-Triggers, new combo extenders, mix ups and abilities will be added for characters like Ken, Guile, Birdie, Menat, R. Mika, Ibuki and others.
In addition to new moves, Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition will include UI improvements and new modes. The re-release will be priced at $39.99, but existing Street Fighter 5 owners will get that new content for free via an in-game update.
Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition hits PS4 and PC on Jan. 18, 2018.
Capcom also revealed some new costumes coming to Street Fighter 5, including “nostalgia” costumes for Chun-li, Balrog, Birdie (who gets his six-pack abs back) and Karen, as well as a batch of festive holiday costumes for Alex, Menat, Karin and Cammy. You can see those, plus two additional combat costumes for Chun-li, in the gallery below.
