Nintendo eShop deals go beyond Black Friday, Cyber Monday

Nintendo is having a sale on the eShop, marking down games for Nintendo Switch, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. And while some of the deals on games for Nintendo systems are better if you buy them from a brick and mortar store, you really can’t put a price on not having to leave the house.

We’ve selected some of the highlights from the sale in the list below, but will stress that you might be better off getting some of these games on cartridge during Black Friday sales. (Switch games Disgaea 5 Complete and Super Bomberman R, for example, are much cheaper at stores like Best Buy and Target currently.) But some of the better games on sale in the eShop are digital only, like the excellent Rhythm Heaven Megamix. and the Legend of Zelda Oracle games.

Also, no rush: Nintendo’s “Cyber Deals” sale runs through Dec. 11 at 8:59 a.m. PT/11:59 a.m. ET.
