Oh God, this again.
Sonic Forces, which purposefully erased the boundary between official canon and fan fiction, is making another bow to the Sonic community with the “Sanic T-shirt” — a free in-game item that references the seven-year-old Sanic Hegehog meme.
Get ready to go fst. The "Sanic T-shirt" is now available for free download in Sonic Forces! (Yes, it's real.) pic.twitter.com/OzIXyVwgCf

The MS Paint abomination is now wearable by any custom created character in Sonic Forces — custom characters being the most prolific way the game pierced the veil between what Sega had created over a quarter century and what fans have appended to it since.
For more on Sonic Forces, see our review. We weren’t impressed, scoring it a 5.0, despite all the fan service. Following the launch of the Sanic in-game T-shirt, we still score it a 5.0.
