Update: The Cyber Monday deals for the Microsoft Store are in. This post has been updated with links to them.
Cyber Monday, a concept that dates to 2005, takes the value-hunting tradition of Black Friday and applies it to online sales — for those who hate large crowds or who prefer shopping at work while looking like they’re busy.
Hardware is where the best deals can be found as retailers unload old stock at doorbuster prices. Here’s what we’ve found so far for the Xbox One for Cyber Monday, and we’ll be updating as more deals roll in.
Note: We’re still waiting on the Microsoft Store to announce its official Cyber Monday deals. Other retailers are pending, too.
Consoles and Hardware
- A basic-as-bread 500 GB Xbox One S bundle is $189 through NewEgg (includes free 3-month Xbox Live pass). It’s usually $279.99. This is the same offer NewEgg made on Black Friday. The same deal can be found at Amazon, Microsoft Store (with free game and one month Game Pass), B&H Photo, GameStop, and Sam’s Club.
- A Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One S 500 GB bundle is $229.99, which is $50 off through NewEgg but this offer is only good until 3 a.m. Monday, ET.
- B&H Photo also has an Xbox One S Minecraft Complete Adventure Bundle for $229, a savings of $50. This deal is also being offered through Target for the same price. Note that the console is the 500 GB version.
- For the beefier 1 TB models of the Xbox One S, Target and B&H have the Minecraft Limited Edition Bundle for $349.99, an Assassin’s Creed Origins Bonus Bundle for $299.99, and a Forza Horizon 3 Bundle for $299.99. Note that this has a bigger hard drive than the Forza Horizon 3 bundle listed on NewEgg above.
- At Walmart, the Xbox One S Ultimate Halo Bundle (a 500 GB console) is $229, a savings of $50.
- Also at Walmart, the Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Bundle (500 GB console) is $199.99, a savings of $30.
- And Xbox One wireless controllers, in black and white, are $39 at Walmart, a savings of $20. Out of luck there? Try Target, Amazon, or the Microsoft store, for the same price.
The Microsoft store is offering nine Xbox One S bundles, all of which come with a free game from a list of choices. Additional items are noted in the listings.
