During the Blizzcon 2017 Opening Ceremony, Hearthstone’s game director Ben Brode unveiled the game’s latest expansion, Hearthstone: Kobolds and Catacombs. In addition to detailing some of the mechanics of the expansion, Brode unveiled a new card, Marin the Fox.
Kobolds and Catacombs doesn’t have a definitive release date, but Brode confirmed that the expansion will launch “next month.” However, players of Hearthstone will be able to get the Marin the Fox card early by logging onto Hearthstone on Monday, Nov. 6.
The brand new expansion focuses on exploring dungeons, finding loot and will even feature a new single player mode called “dungeon run.” This new mode will have players facing off against eight random bosses all while gaining new cards to put into their deck during the run. However, if players lose, their deck will be lost and they’ll have to start over.
