On Dec. 13, characters Finn (Resistance) and Captain Phasma (First Order) will be released, purchasable with in-game credits. The team with the most points will also win upgrades for their character. Battlefront 2's single-player campaign takes place just after the destruction of the Endor Death Star. It tells the story of Empire officer Iden Versio. A new chapter will be released on Dec. 13 that tracks the early days of the First Order.
Earlier this year, EA announced that it is turning away from the season pass model of post-release additions. This new model of "free" seasons will operate alongside a heavy emphasis on loot crates, that are offered for real cash as well as in-game currency.
