After one of the most one sided days in recent memory, the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals are set to be a showdown between Counter Strike: Global Offensive’s two best teams.
The Finals will be played live from the Sparekassan Fyn Arena in Odense, Denmark starting at 10 a.m. EST on ESL’s YouTube channel.
Why you should watch
The last four months of competitive CS:GO have been almost completely dominated by two team, SK Gaming and FaZe Clan.
After years of struggle in Counter Strike: Global Offensive, FaZe’s late 2017 roster was built to succeed, bringing some of Europe’s most individually talented players on the same roster, creating one of the few European Super Teams in Counter Strike. Since their roster change back in August, FaZe Clan have won two major tournaments — including ESL One New York and the ELEAGUE Finals — and placed second at Intel Extreme Masters Oakland.
Meanwhile, SK Gaming have five major tournament wins and one second place finish this year. Even after the recent substitution of Immortals’ Ricardo “Boltz” Prass, SK Gaming’s incredible success has continued winning two more majors and looking for their third in this tournament.
With the two most successful teams of the year getting the chance to meet at one of the final tournaments of the year, the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals will finally show which team will be remembered as 2017’s best.
