Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will get gardening, clothes crafting

More things to do in January

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will feel more like a regular old Animal Crossing game next month, thanks to the addition of gardening. The ability to grow your own flowers and the option to craft clothing will be added to the mobile game as part of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s January update.

Nintendo announced the new features for Pocket Camp on Twitter, and teased the return of a “familiar face.” Shown in silhouette appears to be Animal Crossing mainstay Rover.

(OK. That so-called familiar face could be just about any Animal Crossing cat character, but we’ll put a couple bells on Rover returning.)

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is available now for Android and iOS devices. For our thoughts on Nintendo’s newest mobile game, read Polygon’s Pocket Camp review.
