Adventure Time is being adapted as, what else, an adventure game for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC and Xbox One. Called Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, developer Outright Games is promising an original story, voiced by the show’s cast.

Pirates of the Enchiridion will make characters Finn, Jake, BMO and Marceline playable, allowing each character to freely roam an open-world setting. The characters have been separated from one another by a flood. They have to get back together and find out who caused the disaster.

Finn, Jake and the others may be upgraded with items, spells and potions to supplement “fast-paced tactical combat.” The characters explore the Land of Ooo by boat, which fans are being asked to name. Outright Games has more details on the boat-naming. Fans will vote on the best suggestion in a poll in early January.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is due for a spring 2018 launch.

Adventure Time has had a slew of video game adaptations since its first one on Nintendo 3DS in 2012. The most recent was Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations, which launched in 2015 on 3DS as well as Windows PC and all consoles of the day.

Adventure Time returned for a 10th season in September, but the Cartoon Network series will end in 2018.
