New Year’s sales and Amazon Digital Day cut prices on consoles, games and comics

It’s pretty hard to make it through the holidays without a gift card or two ending up in your wallet. They might not be the most exciting gift, but with post-holiday and New Year’s sales going on, they can be pretty handy this time of year.

Hopefully you got one from some place that can help you capitalize on some of the incredible gaming deals available right now, like the Microsoft Store. Dozens of Xbox One games are still marked down there for its countdown sale. If you got an Amazon gift card, you can find hundreds of comic titles from Marvel and DC marked down to $5 or less. The Vive Store is also offering a special discount on the HTC Vive VR headset, packing it with Fallout 4 and a $50 Steam gift card.
