Chris Pratt is running from dinosaurs in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s first trailer

Chris Pratt is back

The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the highly anticipated sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World, is here and stars cute, cuddly baby dinosaurs.

The trailer gives us our first insight into what Fallen Kingdom will be about; up until now, neither the studio nor director J.A. Bayona have released a synopsis for the movie. We knew that Pratt would be returning to play the ex-military dinosaur trainer, Grady, and Bryce Dallas Howard would reprise her role as the Jurassic World theme park manager, Claire Dearing. Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first Jurassic World, is attached to the movie as an executive producer.

Though details about the film have been scarce, Bayona has teased what the movie will look like. Bayona has tweeted out stills from the movie, including of an unknown character looking at the bones of a large dinosaur hanging in from the ceiling.

The trailer is also expected to play before Disney’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi when it’s released in theaters next week, alongside the recent trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be released on June 22, 2018.
