Few other details were shared

Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aimé showed off a trailer for Bayonetta 3 at The Game Awards tonight, moments after announcing that the first two games would be coming to the Nintendo Switch as well. Bayonetta 3 is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, with no announced release date.

You can view the trailer above, although don’t expect much in the way of details or insights about the upcoming game. “Bayonetta is back,” the trailer’s official copy states. “Bayonetta 3 is currently in development exclusively for Nintendo Switch!”

This announcement mirrors the limited announcement of the upcoming Metroid Prime 4 during E3, where little more than a logo was shown on the screen. The game could be early in development, but knowing that it’s officially coming to the Nintendo Switch is sure to get fans excited.

This means that you’ll be able to play all three games on the Nintendo Switch once these two releases hit store shelves.
