FromSoftware teased its next project during The Game Awards in a painfully short teaser that provides very little to go on.
The video for FromSoftware’s unannounced gamed, which lasts less than 30 seconds, includes two things: a twisting, bloody rope that looks like it’s attached to a bone, and three words, “Shadows die twice,” on a black background.
FromSoftware didn’t offer much beyond that on its YouTube upload of the video. “Here is a tiny glimpse into our new project,” the developer said.
From’s new project could be a sequel to Bloodborne or, if we’re going to read into that text, an homage to the developer’s Shadow Tower games. Or it could be something else entirely.
Perhaps we’ll find out more at this weekend’s PlayStation Experience.
