Disney has released a batch of new concept photos for two of Marvel’s upcoming Phase 3 movies, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther.
The more impressive of the two sets are the first glimpses Disney has released of Wakanda, an African nation and home to Black Panther, in the stand-alone movie. Black Panther, who was first introduced in Captain America: Civil War, can be seen standing in the depths of Wakanda’s jungles and crouching on the top of a moving car. The latter image may be familiar to those who have seen Civil War, which finds Black Panther racing to catch Winter Solider. Part of the full chase can be seen in the video below.
The other set of photos feature the newest villain Chris Hemsworth will have to take on in Thor: Ragnarok: Hela, the Asgardian goddess of death who will be played by Cate Blanchett. Thor will have to break out of the intergalactic prison he’s being kept in to make it back to Asgard to destroy Hela, according to an official synopsis from Marvel.
Another photo provides the first conceptual look at the Hulk and Thor mid-battle. Based on the synopsis Marvel released, Thor and the Hulk will have to go head-to-head in a series of gladiatorial battles before the Asgardian god is able to return home.
All the concept photos uploaded by Spoiler Free Movie Sleuth, which are also available on the digital version of Doctor Strange, can be seen below. Doctor Strange is available to download from all digital retailers today, with the Blu-ray release slated to come out at the end of the month.
