In our review of Logan we didn’t talk about a post-credits scene and that’s for a very important reason: The screening we attended in New York didn’t feature one.
Now, however, Collider is reporting there will be a post-credits scene included when the movie is released to the general public. It’s still uncertain if the scene will be at the very end of the rolling credits or halfway through them — like many superhero movies often do these days — but there will be some kind of additional moment.
This has led to people guessing what the scene could incorporate. Logan is the final Wolverine movie for Hugh Jackman and the actor has spent 17 years in the character’s undershirt, so one would imagine it’s an impressive farewell. Many more fans have asked if it will incorporate Deadpool. The character made an appearance in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Jackman is a good friend of Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds played Deadpool in last year’s award winning film of the same name and the two have said they’d like to work together on another project.
Whatever it is, it’s going to be lengthy. Mike Sampson, the senior marketing and promotions manager at the Alamo Drafthouse in New York, tweeted last week that Fox had updated the movie’s runtime by three minutes, practically confirming the post-credits sequence.
Let the secret post-credits scene speculation begin: Fox just updated LOGAN runtime to 3 minutes longer than version screened this week

Considering the way the internet works, expect to see the post-credits scene show up online as early as March 2 — the day before the movie is released. Logan will be available to watch worldwide on March 3.
