Square Enix is bringing the first three games in the Seiken Densetsu series — aka the Mana series — of role-playing games to Nintendo Switch. The collection, which is currently announced only for Japan, will ship this June.
The compilation will include three titles: Final Fantasy Adventure, originally released for Game Boy in Japan as Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden; Secret of Mana, originally released for SNES in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 2; and Seiken Densestu 3, a Super Famicom game that never made it stateside.
According to a report from Famitsu, the Seiken Densetsu Collection will include a new quick save option and a music mode that lets Switch owners listen to the games’ soundtracks from the console’s home screen.
The Seiken Densetsu Collection hits Japan on June 1 and will cost 4,800 yen (about $43). We’ve reached out to Square Enix for comment on a North American release of the collection. In the meantime, check out the game’s Japanese language announcement trailer below.
