The “post-credits” sequence for Logan has been revealed — and it’s all about the Merc with a Mouth. The reason post-credits is in quotations is because the scene takes place at the beginning of the movie.
The nearly three-minute clip that appears after Logan is the first official teaser for Deadpool 2, the sequel to Fox’s blockbuster, R-rated superhero movie from last year. The teaser, which was taken down by Fox, finds Deadpool dashing into a telephone booth to change into his costume — poking fun of the classic costume changing sequence in Superman.
The teaser ends with Deadpool, who is played by Ryan Reynolds, promising the movie would be coming soon, “but not soon enough.” The sequel was first announced in April, just two months after the movie premiered. It’s been a bit of a rocky road for the film, however, with director Tim Miller walking away from the sequel. John Wick and John Wick: Chapter 2 director David Leitch will take his place.
The Deadpool sequel will be released sometime in 2018. We will update the video when Fox releases the official clip.
Update: Fox has taken the clip down, but a screenshot of Deadpool in the video can be seen below. Changes have been made throughout the story to reflect the video being removed.
