Bungie’s sequel to Destiny is coming to PC, the developer confirmed today. Unlike the original Destiny, which was released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, Destiny 2 will be come to Windows PC in addition to consoles.

The PC version of Destiny 2 appears to be on par with its console counterparts. Bungie’s official website lists a digital deluxe edition, collector’s edition, limited edition and standard edition for the game on PC. Destiny 2 will feature two expansion packs. Players on PC will also be able to take part in the Destiny 2 beta if they pre-order the game.

A PC version of Destiny 2 has been rumored for a long time. Bungie’s contract with Activision included the option for a PC release for the sequel, though fans have long asked for a PC port of the original game.

PC gamers won’t miss out on much progress from the original Destiny. While characters will carry over from the original game on consoles, all the weapons, armor and other gear players acquire in Destiny won’t carry over to Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 is slated for release this September. Watch the game’s debut trailer for a look at what Bungie has in store for the sequel.
