The stand-alone adventure, which Naughty Dog has been billing as “a true Uncharted game,” will cost $39.99 in the U.S. and CA$49.99 in Canada. The Lost Legacy grew out of a project that was originally a “single-player story add-on” for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and players who previously purchased that game’s downloadable content will still receive The Lost Legacy free.
That covers the original $24.99 Triple Pack and the $24.99 Explorer’s Pack that replaced it, as well as Uncharted 4’s $79.99 Digital Deluxe Edition, which included the Triple Pack. When Naughty Dog announced The Lost Legacy at PlayStation Experience 2016, the studio said it would no longer be selling the Digital Deluxe Edition or the Explorer’s Pack as of Dec. 13, 2016. So anyone who bought either of those items got a substantial discount on The Lost Legacy.
However, while those customers are getting The Lost Legacy at no additional cost, they won’t receive any of the game’s pre-order bonuses. In this case, there’s a pretty good one on offer: Anybody who pre-orders The Lost Legacy will get a free copy of the upcoming PS4 port of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, which also launches Aug. 22; Sony announced last week that all four Jak and Daxter games are coming to PS4 as PlayStation 2 Classics. PlayStation Store pre-order customers will also get a Lost Legacy PS4 theme.

Update: Naughty Dog has amended its announcement post to say that The Lost Legacy will be released Aug. 23 in Europe.
