This week’s most talked about trailer was undoubtedly Thor: Ragnarok — so it’s really a pity that it didn’t come out in time to be the subject of this week’s episode of Issue at Hand, Polygon’s show about the strange world of comics.
Then, we could have talked about Planet Hulk and Jeff Goldblum and the dubious relationship between Marvel’s Thor and actual Norse mythology. Instead, dear reader, please cast your minds eye further back in time, to a few weeks ago when the Justice League trailer hit.
While it didn’t give us much of an idea about the plot of the latest installment of the DC Extended Universe, it did give us a larger look at who’s going to be doing the punching and who’s going to get punched. Now is as good a time as any to explain who those bug-soldiers are, what Cyborg is doing in the Justice League and why Jason Momoa as Aquaman actually isn’t that farfetched.
