Hey, the big Star Wars Battlefront 2 reveal is this afternoon at Star Wars Celebration 2017 (2:30 p.m. ET to be exact). You could argue that the actual teaser trailer for the game was, oopsie, the one that slipped out late Tuesday. But here's the official one anyway.
The voice over and the excerpt would seem to confirm, if not the total accuracy of the leaked trailer, at least the premises it introduced. We get the same line of dialogue as the leaked trailer, from the same character, establishing the same time and place (after the Battle of Endor).
The trailer that slipped out Friday has been blasted from existence by DMCA, but we know enough about its contents: It begins on Endor after Death Star 2.0 'splodes, a female TIE Fighter pilot vows revenge for Palpatine's death, then cameos by Kylo Ren, Rey, and the deceased Yoda and Darth Maul.
So unless Electronic Arts spent the last four days re-cutting (and getting approvals from 237 different people at Disney/Lucasfilm) that's probably what we see today at the Battlefront 2 panel, which runs 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. ET.
