Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had its first press screening last night, which means we finally know if there’s a reason to hang around after the credits end.
Apparently, there are five.
After reports began surfacing last night that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had four post-credit scenes, director James Gunn was quick to point out that there was an extra one included that seemingly went unnoticed. When asked by fan if one of the post-credit scenes was held back from press because Disney and Marvel feared it would leak ahead of time, Gunn didn’t respond.
@screenrant Well, five, actually.

Details about what those post-credits scenes are will remain under embargo until reviews are released next week, but various critics did tweet out that fans of the series should pay close attention to each scene as it pertains to either what they just saw or the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 also apparently has one of the best Stan Lee cameos the former Marvel Comics CEO and iconic writer has ever given. Lee has provided a cameo in every single Marvel Cinematic Universe movie since the series began with Iron Man in 2008, and has also loaned his face to Netflix and Marvel's smaller universe on television
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be released on May 5.
