This is the first look at Phantom Dust on Xbox One.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer tweeted the screenshot on Friday.

The cult hit on Xbox has been due for a current-generation update since 2014, when it was announced at E3 that year. Since then, the studio assigned to it was shut down, even as senior Xbox executives insisted the project was "not canceled.

At E3 2016, Phantom Dust reignited with this announcement, which even Spencer considered a surprise at the time.

Phantom Dust originally launched in 2005 on Xbox and will return sometime this year, as part of the Xbox One/Windows PC Play Anywhere program.
