Sniper Elite 4 today launched a second batch of premium DLC, as if another sniper video game wasn't also launched and being reviewed today or something.
The "other game" in question is Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, a modern-day take on the stealth-shooter subgenre. Sniper Elite 4 is set in Italy during World War II. Its newest DLC is the second chapter in its three-mission Deathstorm campaign extension, called Infiltration.
Sniper Elite 4’s story extension sends hero Karl Fairburne to the medieval town of Niroli, a base of operations for the Nazis' propaganda machine. Fairburne has to sneak in to rescue an Allied informant, dealing with a new elite enemy unit and weapon in the process.
Sniper Elite 4 is also selling an expansion pack for multiplayer that includes three new weapons, eight multiplayer weapon skins and a ghillie suit for both male and female avatars.
Lastly, a free update to Sniper Elite 4 brings a new map to multiplayer, "Urban," as well as a new multiplayer mode. Another mode, capture the flag, returns to the playlist.
Deathstorm Part 2 is part of the $34.99 season pass of DLC for Sniper Elite 4, which also offers additional weapons, weapon skins and the pre-order bonus content.
