Today the Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm announced the release dates for the untitled ninth episode of the Star Wars saga and the next Indiana Jones movie.

Star Wars: Episode IX will be released on May 24, 2019, and the fifth movie in the Indiana Jones series will arrive in theaters on July 10, 2020. That represents a one-year delay — Indiana Jones 5 was originally slated for July 19, 2019.

“Both Steven Spielberg, director of every Indiana Jones film, and star Harrison Ford will return” for the next Indiana Jones movie, said Lucasfilm and Disney.

The May release of Star Wars: Episode IX means that this year’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be the last December release for the main Star Wars timeline. It also means that fans won’t have to wait quite as long for the conclusion to the epic franchise’s latest trilogy. The Last Jedi premieres Dec. 15.

The next Indiana Jones movie was confirmed to be in the works in May 2015. Disney acquired the rights to the franchise in 2012, when it bought Lucasfilm for more than $4 billion. Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt’s name has been bandied about for the reboot of the iconic whip-slinging archeologist.
