FIFA 17 will be available in the Vault for both EA Access and Origin Access on April 21, publisher Electronic Arts announced today.
That fits the usual spring window for FIFA’s arrival in the Vault; new entries in the soccer franchise are typically released in late September. FIFA 17 will be the 45th game to join the EA Access collection.
EA also announced today that BioWare’s Dragon Age: Origins will become available in the EA Access Vault sometime this spring. Origins was, appropriately, one of the launch titles for Origin Access in January 2016 — in fact, the program debuted with all three Dragon Age titles. Dragon Age: Inquisition, which was released in 2014, is also playable via EA Access; only 2011’s Dragon Age 2 remains unavailable.
Another EA Access title coming this spring is Medal of Honor: Airborne, the paratrooper-focused World War II shooter that debuted in 2007. On the Origin Access side, four games will join the Vault during the season, three of which are indie titles not published by EA: Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection as well as Daniel Mullins Games’ Pony Island, Surprise Attack Games’ Hacknet and Osmotic’s Orwell.
EA Access is available exclusively on Xbox One, while Origin Access is only on PC. Each service costs $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Subscribers to each service get unlimited access to digital copies of all games in its respective Vault, along with a 10 percent discount on digital purchases.
