South Park: The Fractured But Whole is due out this October, more than 10 months after its planned original release date.
Ubisoft announced that the role-playing game, which mixes up the adult cartoon with superhero lore, will arrive Oct. 17. The Fractured But Whole was first announced for a December 2016 launch.
Ubisoft delayed the game twice: First, the publisher pushed it from December to the first quarter of 2017. Then, in February, the company merely said it would arrive sometime before March 2018. The company reiterated during its earnings call just yesterday that the game was still planned to launch during the 2017 fiscal year.
Alongside the new release date, the publisher also posted a new trailer, above. The Fractured But Whole will be available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One this fall, and the game will come with a free copy of its predecessor, South Park: The Stick of Truth. Pre-order customers will be able to download and play the older game immediately; the offer otherwise expires on Jan. 31, 2018.
