Overwatch’s one-year anniversary event kicks off today, bringing a fresh batch of new cosmetic items to Blizzard’s shooter and a trio of new maps: Black Forest, Castillo and Necropolis.

Overwatch Anniversary loot boxes, which will be available from May 23 to June 12, will include more than 100 new cosmetic items. There are some standout character skins coming as part of the event, including Cruiser D.Va, Beekeeper Mei (unfortunately, her gun does not shoot a swarm of bees, Blizzard said), Cyberian Zarya, Sentai Genji and a jazzy Lúcio. Check them out in the gallery below.

The event will also include three new arena maps and some dance emotes, which you can also preview in the following gallery.

Today’s update for Overwatch also includes a few non-event-specific items, like new emotes for Sombra and Orisa. These cosmetics can be earned through standard loot boxes.

Blizzard is also releasing Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition, a digital re-release that includes cosmetic items for Overwatch and other Blizzard games. The Game of the Year Edition is available now on PlayStation 4, Windows PC via Battle.net and Xbox One.

Finally, players on PS4, Windows PC and Xbox One will be able to try out Overwatch with a free weekend. The game will be free to download and play May 26-29.
