The first image for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a strange Nintendo Switch game that’s been the subject of repeated rumors throughout the year, has appeared online. Comicbook’s gaming vertical WWG posted a piece of full key art, following a cropped image from the game surfacing on Discord.
WWG reportedly received the full-size image, below, from sources connected to developer Ubisoft. The company is said to be working on the title in collaboration with Nintendo.

We first saw a portion of the art after a Discord user shared it to Twitter. That image showed just Princess Peach — or rather, a Rabbid dressed like Peach and taking a selfie.
For those who didn't see the Peach Rabbid leak, here it is.

Only less than a month until we see if this is real artwork. pic.twitter.com/mZMLn38O0y
Earlier reports about the game suggest that it will feature both Mario characters and the Raving Rabbids crew working together to take on enemies with a variety of laser-based weapons. It ... looks and sounds like one of the strangest Mario games yet, and there have been plenty of odd ones.
If the rumors are true, Kingdom Battle could be out on Switch as early as August. We’ve contacted both Ubisoft and Nintendo about the artwork and will update accordingly.
