Deep Rock Galactic is coming to Xbox One

‘Minecraft in space’ based on co-operative FPS multiplayer

Deep Rock Galactic, a stylized space adventure from Ghost Ship Games, is coming exclusively to Xbox One this year. The game was shown on stage at Microsoft's E3 2017 keynote.

Deep Rock Galactic was originally announced for an Early Access launch on Steam sometime this year. In the game, the player will control members of an elite unit of mercenary miners who must fight, dig and explore through huge cave systems to recover anything valuable inside and make it out alive.

The mercenaries are called Dwarves, and Deep Rock Galactic will be a class-based game granting skills and weapons specific to each. The fighting will take place in distinct biomes such as volcanic caverns and ice caves. The game’s visual style and mining theme has often led to the comparison that it is “Minecraft in space.”

Deep Rock Galactic supports up to four players in cooperative multiplayer, and will feature procedurally generated cave systems.
