New Game of Thrones season 7 photos bring back a familiar face

A slew of new photos from Game of Thrones’ seventh season have arrived and with them some more information about a couple of interesting characters.

[Warning: The following contains spoilers for Game of Thrones.]

The most interesting photo that was released stars Lord Beric Dondarrion (played by Richard Dormer) on a horse, looking undeniably cool. As fans will remember, Lord Dondarrion was in charge of keeping the peace in the Riverlands — a task assigned to him by Ned Stark. The last time we saw Lord Dondarrion he was headed toward the North alongside the Hound. Based on the photo, and the glistening snow surrounding him, it’s safe to assume he got there successfully.

Other photos include new looks at members of the Stark family, Cersei and Jamie Lannister and some behind-the-scenes directing. More photos and trailers are expected to be released in the coming weeks.

Game of Thrones’ seventh season premieres on July 16.
